Practical Sunrise
Opening Hours
Sunrise Preschool is open Monday - Thursday: 7.00 - 17.00 & Friday: 7.00 – 16.00.
The first scheduled activity of the day (circle time) begins at 9:30 am and we therefore ask that all children be dropped off at 9:20 am at the latest.
Admissions
The school consists of two sections; nursery and preschool aged 6 month to 6 years old with various nationalities and many different cultural backgrounds.
If you are interested in visiting the school please book online or contact us by telephone or email and we will set up a meeting.
Upon arrival at the school you will be given a tour of the premises and receive additional information and of course be given the opportunity to ask questions.
Your child can then be put on a waiting list and as soon as a place opens up, you will be contacted by the school.
Application
Parents
At Sunrise we seek to provide a nurturing, respectful and caring environment for the enrichment of children’s lives. Since the parents and the family as a whole are integral to a child’s total development, it is essential to us that we work in close partnership with the families. The staff is, therefore, always on hand to provide information and answer questions and concerns from the parents. In addition, there is at the school a Parent Committee elected annually by the parent group.
Lunch and Snacks
The school provides a breakfast option for children dropped off between 7.00 - 8.00, a fruit snack around 9.30 - 10.00, a healthy and nutritious hot vegetarian lunch around 11.00 - 11.15, and lastly an afternoon snack. The food is prepared fresh in the school kitchen and most is produced organic.
Holidays
Sunrise Preschool holds Summer Camp during July and is therefore open.
Sunrise is closed for all public holidays, including Dec. 24th and June 5th. Additional closing days will be stated in the yearly calendar below.
